How to find love is tricky. The real life-long love that you seek is usually found when you’re not really looking for love at all. I decided to see if I couldn’t come to some kind of conclusion, to give you an idea, of how to find love when you’re not looking to find it!
Love is all around us if we choose to see love. Love is a very fulfilling thing that you feel all the way down to the soul. When you are actually looking for love, it somehow manages to hide from you. If you close your eyes to the existence of love, then your chances of finding it improve for one reason: Love happens naturally.
You see, when you are actully looking for love, you subconsciously attempt to create love. This is an impossible task because you can’t create love. When you let go, and stop looking for love, then love will just seem to happen out of the blue.
When you are looking for love, you will idealize people, making them out to be perfect. When you are looking for love, you will overlook faults in people, because you WANT them to be perfect. When you are looking for love, you will find humor in things that aren’t really in rythm with your sense of humor. Finally, when you are looking for love, you change your ideas of what acceptable behavior and treatment is, because you WANT it to be love.
The best way to find love is to not look for love. When you turn off your desire to have love in your life, love will find you, because you are being true to yourself. You are being true to what you believe in, how you feel about things, what you find attractive, what you find funny, and what you find to be acceptable.
Love is all around us, but oddly enough, the real way to find love is to not look for it at all.
