Break up help for women is available all over the internet. Help for women fresh out of a relationship can be found in forums, on web pages, and social bookmarking sites.

I know that there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” solution to anything emotional these days. Healing from a break up isn’t much different. Men and women just flat handle things differently. The general ideas in what you need to do to get over a break up are covered in detail throughout this blog, but I thought I would write a post for women and a post for men, in order to provide more specific ideas in what to do to speed the healing process. In this particular post, I am covering you ladies, because I live by the rule of “ladies first”.

Other than what I stated, in detail, earlier in this blog, a breif summary of what you must do, in order to heal is:

No Contact- Cut off all contact with the ex. Being friends is a terrible idea because, when there is a break up, there is usually one party that did not want it to happen. This can lead to alot of animosity. Friendships are virtually impossible.

Reward yourself- Give yourself little prizes for each week you maintain no contact or for any other progress you make in your healing process

Exercise and eat right- A healthy body leads to a healthy mind.

Laugh- Find any and everything you can to laugh at. Make it a priority. Laughter just makes us feel better.

Maintain a busy schedule- An idle mind is a dangerous thing when you have recently broken up.

Socialize- Meet new people, even date if you are up to it, but be sure to avoid a rebound.

Women are, for the most part, very emotional beings. When you are hurting and going through trying times, you like to let off emotional steam. My first suggestion is that you go to your best female friend (only because most male “friends” will try to get into your panties) and cry. Ask her if she will be your sounding board so you can vent your hurt feelings to. True friends have no problem with this and, in fact, often take such a request as a compliment.

    Avoid alcohol.

    Avoid over-indulgence.

Get yourself a manicure, pedicure, facial, or something that makes you feel beautiful.

    Take a hot bubble bath.

Of these things, I think the most important thing is for you to enlist the service of a girlfriend to help you through this rough time. A good friend can help take away your troubles when you need it the most.
